Lenten Meditations — Week 5

Welcome to Ebenezer Lutheran Church in Chicago’s Lenten Meditation Series: Week 5 — “Serve all people following the example of Jesus.”

Daily prompts:

Wednesday:  What does it mean to serve?

Thursday:  Think of a time when you served someone else joyfully and easily.

Friday:  Think of a time when serving another was hard, when it felt like a chore, or you resented it. What were the circumstances? What did you do?

Saturday:  If you are being honest with yourself, who do you have a hard time including in “all people”?

Sunday:  Is there a time Jesus took care of someone surprising to you?

Monday:  Think of a time you or someone you know stood up for a person being picked on or demeaned.

Tuesday:  If you had to define the serving example of Jesus in one word, what would it be?
