Support the Ebenezer Endowment with Your Life Insurance

Nearly everyone has a life insurance policy; through our employer, in our personal estate plan, or perhaps from childhood. Life insurance is a good way to provide cash or income for the support or benefit of survivors, or for an estate settlement. Naming the beneficiary(ies) and keeping this information updated is very important.

The Endowment committee encourages you to review all of your life insurance policies to ensure that your named beneficiaries are current. We also suggest that you consider adding Ebenezer Lutheran Church as a 5% named beneficiary, or as a contingent beneficiary. A “Contingent Beneficiary” is a way to remember Ebenezer without affecting your primary beneficiaries. Every insurance policy allows for a Contingent Beneficiary.

If you have questions or are uncertain as to how to proceed, please ask your insurance agent, your employer’s personnel department, or contact Dennis Sall (Ebenezer’s Endowment Committee) at dasall(at)comcast.net
